Carl Silliman

Carl came to Armour Architecture with eight years of diverse design experience and a love of historical architecture. A Notre Dame alum, he spent his year abroad in Rome absorbing foundational classicism and traditional urbanism through the time-tested works of early visionaries Vitruvius, Palladio and Bernini. In the years since, Carl has practiced in San Francisco, India and Chicago before returning to San Francisco to work for the studio. Through multiple study grants and nonprofit fellowships, he also helped design sustainable infrastructure for communities in the Bay Area and around the world. Outside of work, Carl enjoys training for marathons, playing soccer and seeing live music.
